This is the iPhone security key. I strongly recommend you to get the Yubikey Authenticator app from your app store. It's a green app with a 'y' and a padlock in the middle. Using the authenticator app is a lot easier than just using the Yubikey itself, but using both is even better! Keep in mind that if you're not using the authenticator app, you won't be able to open your accounts with anything else if the key isn't connected to the iPhone. After opening the authenticator app, make sure to set a password and the app will give you two options: 1 - Scan the code to set up two-factor authentication. 2 to manually enter the account you want to backup. If you want to scan the code, you need another device so your phone can scan it with the camera. If you only have your phone number, just enter it manually. It will ask for your account username. Notice the line that says (secret) on that line where you manually enter your QR code. After entering and completing the saved lines and then entering the 6-digit code, the authenticator app will provide you with a verification of your account. And also buy a small keychain for your medicine bottle to protect it from the elements and damage if it gets hit or dropped. They sell some that are metal.
