I was very pleased with this mattress topper when I first received it. It was well packaged and very comfortable, but after a month or two of use, I noticed my sheets and mattress pad were turning yellow. After a few more months of use, my new sheets, mattress, and mattress topper were irreversibly yellowed. No amount of washing will remove the yellowing. It seems something in the topper has oxidized and is turning yellow. Parts exposed to air and body heat yellowed the most. So the edges and center were the most disgusting. I made the mistake of turning it over because the underside still looked new and completely blue, but then I also managed to get my new mattress stained yellow. Now all the things I bought new when I moved out look utterly and forever disgusting. The stain was so bad it penetrated my waterproof mattress cover down to my sheets. It's embarrassing. It's like the worst sweaty, dirty sheets you've ever seen no matter how much I wash. The first photo shows the yellowing of the mattress topper itself, and the second photo shows how much of that yellowing has transferred to my previously crisp white mattress topper. Now I have to throw everything away and start over because I'm fed up with it all. Unfortunately I have to live with my stained mattress as it is too expensive to replace some stains.
