A big improvement over my travel tire levers

Ideal for motorcycle tires. I usually use a spare tire, shovel or something suitable as a stand and then use the tire mounts (Motion Pro) from the tool kit I carry with me when I travel. With this setup I've replaced most of the riders' nightmare tires, both tubed and tubeless (E07, K60, Tourance and D908RR). I've also made some MT21s but they don't count as they're basic compared to others. Sure it's a good idea to change a tire with what you have, but I've done it so many times and I'm not getting any younger so I figured I'd keep these mini irons for as long as the emergency came up, Roadside/trail situation and I went broke and bought a nice iron for my shop, similar to the ones the gas station guys have. They fit this bill well. I just changed a rear Metzeler Tourance and it took me 10 minutes to get these irons. I could never beat that time with my travel irons, so I'll indulge and use them when I have access to my shop and just use the lighter, shorter ones from my toolbox if that's all I have.

Pros
  • Perfect tire spoons for motorcycle/lawnmower/off-road tire changers: 14.5" (370mm) provide much better leverage when changing tires than others on the market that have a 11" ( 280mm).
Cons
  • Slightly torn
