The green color that was offered really appealed to me. Beyond that superficial attribute, it also appeared that it might offer substantial protection if dropped. It is thick compared to some other cases and feels sort of "rubberized" in a good way. I do think it (the thickness/denseness) might have a small effect on the volume (seems it is slightly muffled) since it seems I need to turn up the volume for phone calls. Or it might just be my hearing! It also makes for a heavier and bulkier phone in my purse. I expected that to be the trade-off for a more protectivecase (i.e. denser/heavier case). So, if it is protection you are prioritizing, then you will probably like this case.
