So let's get started. I bought it a while ago to prepare for a vacation. I just got back from Grand Cayman where I finally got the chance to use this camera. I was very impressed. I took several pictures of Stingray City and they were all crystal clear. I also made a few videos, which turned out great too. Now, this might not give you cinematic quality footage, but it delivers exceptional quality for what it is. There was also no sign of water ingress or contamination. However, I have a wish list ;-) 1: A small edge or rim under the lens as a finger rest would be nice. I have big hands and sometimes my fingers end up in the frame in the heat of the shooting. 2: It would be nice to add a shadow to the screen, sometimes it's difficult to see the preview screen in certain lighting conditions. 3: The zoom buttons could be a bit bigger. I also tried this camera in a dining room at night and it left a lot to be desired for video. Note to self, OUTSIDE or strong lighting required for video. In addition, it worked very well and I was very satisfied with this product. I haven't tried using it at nominal depth but I don't see any real problem. Maybe later I'll have the opportunity to dig deeper and see how the camera works.
