I'm a one-armed vet. These latches are very easy to install. The material and fittings are good, but I found the original Jeep locknut to work much better than the original locknut. Would and would recommend these closures. One-armed bandit.

I had a problem with them and their excellent customer service quickly sorted it out. The locks look great and are well made. I highly recommend buying them from this supplier because if there are any problems they will fix everything.

Very good quality. Easy installation for JL. They're adjustable, but I didn't really need to adjust. The hood closes tightly. Gives the product a very nice look and quality. This is one of the $50+ post-install upgrades you get. They definitely stand out, especially on a white jeep.

No Instructions 🤨Thanks to the guy who posted the video. We used nuts from an old set as they were stronger and had a built in washer. buy leverage. You will not regret it. It's a really tight fit when you're trying to get your socket wrench in there. Checked highway. THERE IS NO flapping when flashing the half mile in the opposite direction. Very happy with it. They appear to be quite solid and look like they will last but they are being returned. When engaged, they force the hood into contact with the fender and also create an uneven gap between the hood and fender. They also don't hold the rubber insert that holds the gap and keeps the hood from touching the fender. Installation didn't go too bad, pull the grille out and you can fit a 3/8 ratchet and 13mm socket into the hidden bottom bracket nut.

Easy to install on a 2007 JK. The hardest part is removing the OEM bottom bracket. It's a bit difficult to get to, so I had to stuff my smallest 1/4" ratchet with a 13mm socket into it. The latch is solid and works great, but it doesn't fit perfectly - maybe it's my aftermarket hood. Installation was pretty easy. I would recommend removing the grille to access the fender nut. They seemed to be well constructed. They just don't go with the hard rock JKU hood. The latch was not long enough and did not open far enough to reach the hood from the fender. With the top claws all the way down, I was able to try to close the latch, but the latch touched the hood and scuffed the paint. Returned immediately. The iron itself is functional, there are no complaints. However, there are no instructions for the included hardware. Installing the JKU isn't difficult, it's just difficult to fit the ratchet in a tight space. Do the passenger side first as this is the trickiest part. Don't worry about using the included hardware (nuts), they are almost impossible to use as they are tiny and maneuverability is incredibly limited.
