Product arrived earlier than I thought, well packaged. The PS3 took me to a whole new level of gaming. I use this system to improve my gaming experience in sequels and trilogies to older games from previous systems. An indispensable complement for all types of players.

Do not buy at all! You can't do anything, movies, digital, nothing, don't even try to visit the app store and the controller was dead as soon as we got it, we couldn't even play, it sucks. Joysticks included, buttons didn't work and were even hard to turn on at times. Nonsense I wish we could do a refund but we waited a long time thinking it would work and even called to find out what to do. They told us it was an auto failing system that we shouldn't have bought.

My husband bought this and it came in a box that smelled TERRIBLE. It smelled like a head shop/pottery house where they burn A LOT of incense or something. It gave off a very strong peppery smell that didn't go away even after opening and airing the box. Not to mention that it only worked for about an hour and then gave us a red death signal and shut down. We were very disappointed with this experience. Unfortunately, the PS3 we were given turned out to be the wrong model: CECH K01. It doesn't have the feature we were specifically looking for - slots for memory/SD card readers. The desired model is CECH A01 (1st generation). After studying this, I seem to have found that later models didn't have the features we're looking for. One of my two PS3 consoles stopped working properly, apparently due to an electrical surge. I ordered a new computer card, but I couldn't repair it myself. I've looked at other consoles but nothing beats the versatility of the PS3, not even the PS4. The PS4 has a much faster processor and memory, but SONY hasn't integrated DNLA or BlueRay (for movies).
