Review on TSSART White Artist Tape: The Ultimate Drafting & Painting Masking Tape - Acid Free, 2 Inch Wide, 180FT Long by Sasha Hsiao
Not suitable for stretching watercolor paper.
This tape is great for sticking watercolor paper to a drawing board and will peel off. (Pull it diagonally towards the outer edge so you don't tear the paper.) However, I was hoping this would work for stretching the watercolor paper. This is not the case as it will not stick to wet paper. I don't want to use that horrible brown rubberized power band for stretching. Over a hundred years later, one might think the industry could come up with something better.
- Acid Free: This paper tape is acid free to protect paper, painting from acid and oxidation, and it will not cause any harm when you remove it.
