Review on 🚨 Wolo (3555M-B) Aurora Halogen Emergency Warning Mini Light Bar - Blue Lens: Enhanced Visibility for Critical Situations by Sangmin Barrett

Got this as a Christmas present for my daughter who works as a mail carrier. Part of the route follows a busy highway. and the flasher she used was cheap and barely visible in the sun. So this gift was for my peace of mind too! It arrived very quickly and I immediately installed it on my car to show my son-in-law. We were both very impressed with the brightness and impact of the diamond mirrors, two lights seem like four. she liked it! She picked up her coffee from Christmas morning and immediately put it down. She too was impressed by the presentation. Having read the reviews before buying I was a little concerned it might be blown off the roof but so far it has survived a couple of trailer races where your car barely veered and it wouldn't budge. I'm deducting a star because, as others have said, the power cord is ridiculously short. Luckily, she has an auxiliary outlet in the back of her car within easy reach; On my car it had to be pulled tight across the passenger compartment to make a connection. Except for the short cord, this is a great product that I would recommend to anyone. Too bad that even now that it's so visible, there are still idiotic drivers who don't yield as they should. Updated 7th February 2013 My daughter informed me that one of the motors had stopped turning so I went to Revain to return it. Much to my disappointment (and that's very nice!) the return period expired exactly a week ago. I thought there was a longer warranty on it, but when I went back to the list I found there was NO warranty. I contacted Revain and they sent me a prepaid return label but only refunded 80% of the purchase price upon receipt of the refund leaving my daughter without the required warning light for over a week. The question is, am I spending more money on something that only has a 30 day guarantee and has already proven unreliable? Later that same day I picked up the lightbar after my daughter's day at work and thought it might be worth checking it out for myself as I have been working with electronics and electromechanical devices for over 46 years. I have found irrefutable evidence that this block was previously discovered. Overall, I think this device should come with "buyer beware" on the list. UPDATE April 10th 2013 I should have done this two months ago, my apologies to Revane and any potential buyers I may have put off. The day after my last update, I contacted Revain again and got much better results. It was immediately clear to the lady I spoke to that this is an automotive product and therefore the warranty on it is longer. Since there was actually a guarantee on it, she sent a replacement right away; This prevents my daughter from working without a flasher. Yay Revane! When the replacement arrived I opened the Revain package and found a lovely shiny box of Wolo that was not included in the first batch. In that box, along with the lightbar, I found instructions and a 90-day warranty, two other things that weren't included in the first shipment. I hope this will be my last update, everything works as intended, the light bar still hasn't moved from its place and all my daughter's staff have been asking her where she got it! *** UPDATE December 23, 2013 Well it's been less than a year. First let me say that she had no problem with this light being blown off her roof! However, one of the rotator motors died about a month ago and the other died last week. It is also evident that the end of the candle overheated. I have to say she was apparently too lazy to turn it off with the switch when she wasn't working, so when her car is in the device is on and that at least doubled the wear and tear on the device. As this is a very visible warning light I am looking for replacement motors for it and if successful I will install a switch on the dash to cut power. She can't be THAT lazy, can she?
