I had high hopes for this machine having used another brand for many years with great success. But alas, no luck with that. If the bread rises as intended, the top part will burn, giving the whole loaf a burnt flavor. The flour is not fully integrated, leaving a streak of raw flour on the loaf. Not very tasty. The last loaf I baked yesterday didn't rise as it should and instead of rising it left a crown of bits of crust on the bread. The bread was too compressed, the crust was too thick and the taste was wrong. There are only two things I like about this machine: the bread hook, which makes it easy to remove the blade that inevitably ends up hidden in the bread, and the extra bread turner.
