Perhaps the very first stand they made was tested and worked fine, but the factory must have recently stopped testing their product because this stand I received did not assemble properly can. The bracket that connects the bracket to the stand has two threaded points: one is a standard Phillips screw, facing backwards, and the other is a black screw head, facing forward. The Phillips head screw must be loosened and tightened before connecting the arm and cannot be adjusted after assembly if it is too tight or too loose. In addition, the black screw handle is TOO SHORT, so it cannot be connected at all after assembly. The solution is to have TWO screw knobs long enough for you to easily loosen and tighten as needed after inserting the lever mount into the support bar. I am returning this brand new stand UNUSED simply because it is UNUSED.
