I bought it mainly for the light and consistent hours (keep it off the grid). I like the ability to switch between 24 hour and 12 hour modes. The light is nice and I like the colors. And the sound is surprisingly loud and of decent quality for such a small speaker. The only thing that bothers me is that I wish it was easier to switch to a colored light (rather than an alternating one) without switching to the next color because you're repeatedly doing a hold touch. It's also a bit of a hassle to switch between all 48 colors to get back to the one I want when I accidentally flip them.
