We have other reusable ice packs that are larger and use the same concept. You add water once. Unfortunately, other large packs tend to have a place to perform. And these ice packs follow the same trend - I'm guessing it's a design issue since I followed literally every step of the guide. In truth, it's a bit annoying, mainly cosmetically. These smaller packages have better instructions and are behaving as expected for now. They don't have bulges, they freeze pretty flat. How long they stay cold depends on many variables - the type of cooler (strong, well-insulated walls to soft walls), the size of the cooler, the condition of the product - already frozen, almost thawed or at room temperature. However, in a brief test, they were on par with my old ice-filled zipper method. I haven't seen a huge temperature benefit for ice packs, but it's better from a convenience standpoint. Reusable, I don't waste them. Resources - Ziplock Bag / Water. And they are thin and small that fit anywhere. The durability is good and will hopefully remain so for a very long time. Good value for money - as it's a 5 pack but small. – Fair value only. Durability is similar to strength.
