But the adapter works.

Original Vivo tablets didn't fit my LG monitor, manufacturer (Vivo) recommended this adapter. The adapter works, but at this price point (1/2 the price of a dual monitor desktop mount) they might at least include the hardware needed for installation. I had to go to a hardware store to get washers to keep the adapter from wobbling and found that the dual monitor desktop mount didn't work with two different sized monitors.
