This is an excellent brush to use on badly tangled hair!

I was actually shocked at how well and almost pain free this brushed through my horribly tangled hair, almost painlessly. I wish I had known about these brushes years ago! do. I keep my hair up in a clip most of the time and it gets very tangled. With other brushes, it felt like my hair was being ripped out by the roots. I will never be without at least 2 of these! 0ne on my vanity, one in my purse. Excellent product and price!

Cons

While the vented design of the brush is meant to allow for easier drying and styling, it may not be effective for those with extremely thick or coarse hair, as the vents might not provide enough air flow to fully dry the strands.
