I bought these sponge towels to replace the bamboo towels I used because I thought they would be better. Although they are certainly comfortable. good for wiping countertops and cleaning up small spills etc. . They are not ODOR FREE as some posters say. After about two days I noticed a sour smell in the kitchen. I checked my dish sponge. It wasn't. Then I checked the Swedish fabric. My eyes nearly watered from the terrible stench. This happened after just two days, even though the fabric had air dried. I didn't use it in just two days, but I did wash it in the washing machine and let it air dry again. However, the next time it was used, the sour smell returned with a vengeance. I love the convenience of these wipes and the fact that they are eco-friendly, but that sour smell is NOT BUENAU! return as soon as possible. If the manufacturer can somehow make these wipes antibacterial to avoid the acidic smell I will buy again. But now I might go back to bamboo towels.
