I live in an apartment without a closet. So when it dawned on me that a steam cleaner could help clean up my mop mess, I jumped at the chance. My friend has a professional steamer for a large home in Arizona. She has two dogs and she keeps them clean. So I did a little research at the first opportunity and established some criteria: light weight, vapor control, maneuverability, good customer service. Putting everything together wasn't difficult. The videos related to this area were great! I think next time I would like to have a detachable water tank. But it's ok to empty this one I don't think... but I've never tried! I've only used it once to clean my unsealed marble floor. It's already in pretty bad shape so I figured it couldn't hurt. I have to say I was impressed. I turned it up! I used water from my RO water purifier. I'll probably buy distilled water later. I called and asked about use on unsealed granite and marble. I called her three times. They couldn't have been better. They said the floors needed to be covered. So now I only use it in BR. I was afraid the vapor might be dangerous. But no, it's very easy, not scary at all. To be honest a mop is easier and takes less time but with a steam cleaner the floor feels cleaner and looks better…. But I've only used it once. I plan to use him to steam clean the sheets/curtains in the bedroom! I may not have to pay anyone to take photos etc etc etc so far so good but will be back with updates. I gave four stars because the water tank is not removable. I would like to give 4 and a half!
