I ordered a Small and they are quite snug which is what I wanted. The Small tho, is borderline. I might have gotten away with a Medium but I have a bad knee and they offer support for that. The really cool thing about these leggings is the length. That extra stretchy cuff that you can wear in different ways. Most leggings are just too short. I'm short but my legs are long for my size and most leggings are annoyingly too short. I prefer 29 to 30 " and that's hard to find. Being about 112lbs and 63" in height, the Small fits very snug. I washed them once before wearing and they did not shrink. I did put them in a garment bag tho because previous leggings made of similar material tend to pill or get snagged. I hope these don't. All in all, very pleased.
