They look exactly like the Ruffies Contractor bags I've used for years. They smell a little funny, but at least they aren't perfume and you don't notice it as soon as you throw them in the bin. When I first started using garbage bags, I noticed that they all leaked and were flimsy. So I went straight to the contractor's bags for my household waste, which almost never leak. When my trash starts smelling, I add something else and eventually it stops smelling. I do this until it's full. I have a 30 gallon dumpster and I don't want to waste good garbage bags. Plus the price is great as Berry Plastics 618843 Ruffie's 33 Gallon Black Contractor Bags are almost the same bags and cost over $1 a bag! Maybe now I can afford to take out the trash before it gets so heavy I can barely lift it! UPDATE: They're a little shorter than Luffies, but still ok. They seem to be holding up well, I'm not sure if they're as good as the Ruffies but very close. I will continue to buy them.
