This is a rather uncommon connector but one that is commonly used on sim racing gear. I think both SimXperience and Fanatec use RJ12 connectors to connect various accessories and if one breaks it can be difficult to find replacement cables. I used the standard RJ45 ethernet crimp tool that also comes with a built in RJ12 tool and it works great. The connections are of high quality and easy to use even for beginners. Simply arrange the colors in the correct order and crimp. These connectors accept 6 wires but are the same size as 4-wire connectors. Monoprice usually offers good quality cables and connectors for the price, I'm happy with that and a pack of 50 will probably last me forever.
