Arguably the best iPad accessory ever!

Since the announcement I've been more or less patiently waiting to order Brydge Pro for my iPad Pro. After about two weeks of using it, I'm so glad I bought it. I've used the Apple Smart Keyboard/Case and to be honest it was good, but it didn't quite work for me either. When I'm on the go, I use my iPad instead of my laptop, and the Apple Smart Keyboard, while functional, isn't quite as good as a laptop keyboard. However, Brydge turns my iPad into a really useful computer replacement and I honestly have no regrets. She. It's so much like typing on a regular Apple laptop that you'll be using the trackpad without even realizing it! The backlight feels nice. It's not incredibly bright, but it more than gets the job done and can be turned off if you want to extend battery life. I can still type around 100+ wpm on this tablet with ease. Obviously you don't buy a case like this expecting it to increase the size of your tablet. At least I hope you don't! It doubles the weight and thickness of the iPad, really making it more of a thin laptop. Still very easy to carry around or hide in a pocket. This hinge is nice and firm and it doesn't feel like the iPad will suddenly drop. I've read comments about how difficult it is to insert/remove the tray from the small parts that hold it. I didn't find it at all. It's easy enough to get in and out of, but not so easy that it accidentally slips out. And when inserted/removed properly you can't get the rubber stoppers out of the hinge, they are very clearly caught. Unlike other keyboard cases I've used, the Brydge can be used while sitting on my lap - there's no instability as the tablet isn't just sitting in a slot, it's properly attached to a stable surface. I really don't know what else to say. about that. The battery life is excellent. I use this several hours a day for the two weeks I have and the battery is still in the green (75-100%). The keyboard goes to sleep if not used for a few minutes, but just press any key to wake it up and it reconnects immediately. Brydge also comes with a plain black iPad back cover. It is held to the tablet by the Smart Connector's magnets. It's not required, but it's nice! No problem with slipping or falling. The iPad Pro is already a really great tablet. Lots of power and possibilities. The Brydge Pro is even larger than Apple's own keyboard, bringing it a step closer to being a laptop replacement. I'm not looking for a new laptop anymore, the Brydge Pro meets all the requirements I need.
