Good design - terrible performance

Keys must be blocked to register. If you're a fast typist, be prepared to use the backspace key. Many plus points are that the keyboard looks really good. TLDR = great looks, great instability, but high error rate due to missed keystrokes.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Negative gift

Please be very careful when purchasing this product. I've had an iPad Pro 12.9" since release and it's always had an Apple cover with no keyboard. I recently bought a Brydge 12.9 keyboard and used it for about a week before I noticed a crack in the screen that came out protrudes from the top of the iPad and slides into a bracket on the keyboard there. I suspect the bracket that the iPad fits in is too narrow which is what caused this crack. The screen replacement through Apple is $600 for a 12…

Died after a week, non-intuitive working out of the box

UPDATE: Typing on the iPad keyboard as Brydge died after less than a week of use (obviously my initial problems weren't my fault and the box wasn't sealed so I'm wondering they just sent me the returned item). ORIGINAL: The documentation was minimal (and small print) so I figured I'd have to charge the keyboard first until I realized the power light was off and pairing wasn't automatic. Still, it's a great keyboard, albeit a bit heavier than I expected (feels tighter than my Mac Air).

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • May damaged

I would never put my $1,500 iPad in here!

Just arrived and sent back immediately. It took a tremendous amount of force to move the two clips holding the iPad in place. Zero instructions on how to defeat this power. Type "support" into the search bar on their website and it says "not found". No installation instructions, no website support? Need to know more? I do not need.

  • Easy assembly

Best keyboard for the latest 12.9 inch iPad Pro

This is the best iPad Pro keyboard I've ever used. I've used Logitech, ZAGG and also the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio. My favorite way to type is on the Brydge Pro keyboard. The keys feel comfortable and the keyboard has backlight options for almost any lighting. The Brydge Pro keyboard pairs so well with the iPad Pro that several people ask me which MacBook I use. It's definitely a great keyboard and I would highly recommend the Brydge Pro to anyone looking for a keyboard for their iPad Pro. It…

Best keyboard to connect to iPad

Brydge Pro is the best keyboard to connect to iPad. The materials appear to be durable and of good quality. The color space gray suits it perfectly. It easily snaps on and off the edges of the iPad for an incredibly wide range of viewing angles. I've used both Apple's Brydge and Smart Keyboard Folio for a few weeks to compare the two, and the Brydge won for comfortable typing and use on my lap. The Brydge is heavier than the Smart Keyboard Folio and uses Bluetooth, which is a slight downside…

Arguably the best iPad accessory ever!

Since the announcement I've been more or less patiently waiting to order Brydge Pro for my iPad Pro. After about two weeks of using it, I'm so glad I bought it. I've used the Apple Smart Keyboard/Case and to be honest it was good, but it didn't quite work for me either. When I'm on the go, I use my iPad instead of my laptop, and the Apple Smart Keyboard, while functional, isn't quite as good as a laptop keyboard. However, Brydge turns my iPad into a really useful computer replacement and I…

My Favorite iPad Pro Keyboard Case

I was very hesitant to purchase the Brydge Pro for my new iPad Pro because of the many negative reviews. However, I liked the look of the product and wanted to see it for myself. I originally had the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio, but it had a few downsides: 1) it didn't have backlit keys, 2) I found typing frustrating, and 3) it didn't work as well on my lap as the keyboard is very thin and a little thin. I was hoping that the Brydge Pro would accomplish those three tasks without sacrificing too…
