Suitable for my needs but generally not made safe.

They are fine, they are attached to a very strong post above the door and do not hang on their own so they suit my needs. But if you plan on using them separately over a door, I'd probably consider a different product. There's literally a paper clip holding a hanger over the door. This is so wrong. The hooks are fine. I only use them to organize light items like empty canvas bags and small random purses. If you need something stronger, keep looking.
