While flushing our toilet, the flush handle suddenly started swinging all the way down, making an odd noise in the cistern. When I opened it up, there was a water hose (filling the tank) and a yellow cap dangling inside. It turns out that if someone flushes too hard, the yellow cap can crack, and you'll have to replace the entire inside of the flask. This is this product. Simply twist the existing inner piece counter-clockwise and lift up. Then replace it with a new one and put the yellow cap in the hose and unscrew the cap on top. Did.
