One size smaller! I followed other reviews and am glad I did. I'm 5ft 8-9 inches tall, weigh 160 pounds and have an athletic build. I usually buy medium. I have it in Small and I'm so happy I did. This dress will be used to update our 15 year vows so I wanted something fun. This dress fits perfectly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's *a bit* transparent on the back. My tattoo on my back is definitely visible and I don't mind, but any underwear would be visible. The bow is detachable and you tie it yourself.
