Review on Spode Blue Italian Placemats Set by Jimmy Hargrove

Napkins Italian Spode Blue Napkins, set of 4, purchased March 2016 I initially thought they were great and well made as they are thicker than the ones previous available "old set" with the same pattern. The "old set" was thinner, the finish had worn off, the edges were peeling off the backing, the paint was fading. These new ones are much thicker overall and the finish seemed better at first. At this point, however, the finish bubbles and cracks, destroying it. You are not beautiful. Now I have to throw them in the trash can. So disappointed because they were so great at first glance. We're not strict with our stuff, quite the opposite, so it's not about wear and tear. It's a lack of quality. I believe they should have lasted more than 1 1/2 years with light use.
