Be sure to use a straight HDMI cable
At first I thought mine was defective so I went back. It turned out that the intermittent momentary streaks in the top left corner were due to using an adapter cable (MacBook) to the HD-15 VGA cable included in the kit. Switched to a direct HDMI cable to the company laptop and everything was fine. However, small jobs with a Mac via an adapter are not a problem.

- It's an LCD screen which makes it a bit blurry when gaming. This is normal with normal use.
