Unfortunately they were not made as the originals were. Geminis aren't strong enough to withstand the constant pressure of a jet of water once they get a little dirty. They will be destroyed and will no longer be able to purify the water. They last longer between replacements and can be washed and used as a primary filter with a new secondary filter behind. Instead of replacing all 4 filter pads, you can wash 2 and put 2 new filter pads behind them. Much more profitable.
