I have hesitated with this purchase for months. I want to buy earlier! The first 3 photos before. The next 3 photos are halfway there. The last 3 photos are the end. I applied this product to clean hair and blow dried it (I didn't use any after shower product, blow dry cream or conditioner). Instructions are easy to follow. If you use the right amount of hair and brush it out before using the rail tip, the hair will not be pulled out. I used the first few passes on large pieces and it really pulled, but once I used the right amount of hair I had no problems. It takes a little while, the product isn't heavy (it's lighter than my hair dryer). I didn't notice any large/long hair patches in the grip area. I've seen some negative reviews from people who have lost larger/longer strands of hair, I'm not a hairstylist, I believe these people had these results due to their hair condition. If your hair hasn't been cut/trimmed it will come out bigger/longer strands in my opinion because the hair is so unhealthy. It was the negative reviews with the price tag that put me off buying this product. I think the negative reviews after using the product are from people who didn't follow the directions, used too much hair and didn't use it on fully washed, blow dried hair. The price seems high but after using this product I understand. This is an investment, not a disposable product. 10/10 I would recommend this product. Note: I have very thin, greasy hair. After using this product last night I woke up with my hair feeling like I just went to the barber! It's so silky smooth and healthy!
