on this b/ci showed performance degradation as my RD was rear view mirror mounted. I think it was too far from the windshield and I wanted to go back to the traditional mount but stay away from those damn suckers because they're awful. This block sticks to the windshield and adjusts the angle quite well. Fits as described on my 8500x50. The only issue is that it's pretty solid on the windshield as the top-to-bottom spacing isn't what I would call "low profile". There's no reason to align the stars, but that's the only improvement I'd like to see. That makes it pretty obvious that I have an RD and installing a windshield isn't legal here in Minnesota. However, much better than the original suction cups and recommended for the price.
