Review on πŸš€ Revolutionary PlasmaCar PlaSmart: Unmatched Battery-Powered Tricycles, Scooters & Wagons by Adam Jauregui

Warning: limited number of finishes - but when it works, it's cool!

Attention, only works on a narrow range of surfaces. A misleading description on this critical subject. When it works, it's just fantastic. On the concrete floor, this is one of my son's favorite toys. He's already physically too big for him, but he still drives a lot. On the right pavement it's a total blast - picking up speed quickly, actually accelerating when entering a corner, skidding. My son would spend HOURS on this. 10 stars on the right area! So I bought another one for another place - oops that was a whole different thing. The interior floor is too smooth - it needs traction to move - on this floor (faux vinyl, textured, not slippery smooth) turning the knob does nothing - it doesn't move. The outer driveway is too rough - lots of traction but too much rolling resistance. In short, it just wouldn't work in this other place, so I had to go back. Three stars for not making it clearer that there is a limited range of surfaces it works well on. The description on the website seems deliberately misleading to me. "Our testers found that the PlasmaCar rides best on hard, flat surfaces. Carpet, grass, gravel and other "rough" surfaces reduce the toy's ability to move forward.” they themselves make no claims. Both the floors and the driveway are firm and level, so of course some skill could be used. Oh, they clarified a bit. "Shrink" carpet and grass? It's just ridiculous, carpet and grass completely stop it. Making it sound like it's a little slower on other surfaces is optimistic at best and intentionally deceptive at worst. I think some people bought it wondering what the deal was. I promise, on the right surface, it's amazing.
