House Labs Head Rush blush and highlighter. I have a duet, a flirt and an affair. Firstly, I really like the elegant packaging, even the box and insert indicate very luxurious branding, not ostentatious, trendy or childish. Very clean and smooth when you open it in the box it has a black cardboard pad to keep it from moving when you open the blush you get a black to translucent gradient insert to protect the blush and also a sticker on top of the mirror for protection. I used a natural brush to apply it and it's really easy to apply. Formula wise the product had no rebound which makes me wonder as I've seen so many reviews saying too much powder blocks? Honestly, I would recommend taking the brush in a proper bronzing bath and not rubbing the bronzer, just rubbing the brush. The formula is matte with absolutely no glitter or sparkles, which I really like. It's not dry or chalky and the pigment is definitely there, it's very smooth and blends to a very diffuse, warm airbrushed finish. I love how it looks on my skin, it blends really well. My only negative comment is that I wish it lasted longer and didn't come off my face mask straps as easily. This is a problem I've found with Haus Labs in general, they don't last very long which is odd because Lady Gaga is a performer on stage and she needs waterproof makeup but baby, they have Haus Labs products no waterproof options apart from their eyeliners which I have yet to try as if it were a letter. In general, the quality is there and honest. But as summer 2021 rolls around, we're hoping haus labs will change that and bring us some fun, durable, smudge-proof products.
