Review on πŸ”Š Immersive 5.1 Surround Sound System: VIZIO Sound Bar for TV with Wireless Subwoofer and Bluetooth by Natalie Wright

Revainrating 1 out of 5

5 months later; Don't turn on anymore!

So far I've always supported Vizio products. I have never rated anything with 1 star. Unfortunately, there were too many problems with this 5.1 soundbar. I also have an old Vizio soundbar with a subwoofer but no surround sound (2.1).* I don't think all Vizio products are bad. Also note that my Vizio customer support is very poor. * 1. First of all, the sound quality. The rear speakers sound like garbage when you get close to them. You shouldn't notice that when you're in the right position. But they still do a good job.2. The speaker sometimes lost communication with the subwoofer and the only workaround for this problem was to disconnect and reconnect. This is very annoying and the consumer should never do this! The speaker has an audio delay/audio sync issue. I've tried syncing via both the TV's settings and Vizio's delay feature on the remote. Never fully synced. Note; the other speaker had no such problems.4. Vizio will now not turn on, no POL (light on) or response. Without food for a day. Came back, plugged it in and now I realize it's getting pretty hot. I also noticed that when the speaker is not in ECO power mode it delays all audio and loses communication with the subwoofer which is also driving the 2 surround speakers. If you're still thinking about buying this soundbar, I don't recommend it. BUY a protection plan. I gave up on this as my other Vizio products are still working perfectly. I'm an electronics engineer and I know I can fix this. I'm still waiting for a response from Vizio as the Revain return period has long passed. I really hope Vizio fixes this issue or I will stop buying Vizio products. This product does not receive my recommendation.
