Eventually it will rust
I bought it twice. I love it because it's plastic and my kid can't drop it and break it or hurt himself on it. My problem is that the rose gold part is starting to rust on a set I bought a year ago. We installed a double vanity and needed a second set to match, but you can clearly see the color difference between the new and old.
