When you're ready to travel

I just received my rig and was so excited to open it up. The box was knocked in transit but it didn't damage my setup. The gear was wrapped in plastic with air, which provided some cushioning. I took it out of my bag and was very impressed with how well made this rig was. Lightning feels strong. Clips are strong. The handles feel like they will last a long time. The bottom plastic and hardware stand upright and feel very sturdy. There is a feeling that it can tip over when heavily loaded. The wheels feel very strong and don't wobble at all. The rear skid is thick, offering protection from the abuse that is sure to come from airlines. Lots of space. You can fit so many things into this thing. Lots of little pockets for things and another compartment for things you don't need to damage or separate from everything else. The drill is BIG. Be prepared for how big it is. Don't be surprised if airlines charge more for overweight when it's packed. The only thing I noticed was the lack of locks. Some may want to buy a zipper lock or something to make it more secure. I can't wait to plan my trip to see just how much abuse this thing can take.
