Installed on my 1993 Dodge Dakota (5.2L). Raised bed for pump access. Not that difficult. The hardest part is making sure the rubber gasket is properly seated between the tank and the pump. First, I put it on the pump (rather than the tank opening). Make sure the float does not hit the inner wall of the tank, otherwise it will stick. Turn it clockwise (looking down) until you hear/feel it hitting the tank wall, then pull back a little to make sure the path is clear. You will need to transfer some parts from the old pump to the new pump, so don't throw away the old pump until the new one is installed and working properly.
