I still can't believe how difficult it was to just unpack this humble item. Apparently they first wrap the entire carbine in shrink wrap and completely encase it in some sort of tight-fitting, extremely flexible plastic. THEN stick it back onto the cardboard backing/label. Once I managed to remove it from the cardboard, the process of removing all the plastic from the object itself began. I've endured broken nails, paper cuts, pinched fingers, and snips in my attempts to get the thing out of the plastic. When it was actually unpacked and I was able to use it for its intended purpose, I was disappointed that this item appears to be very cheap. It doesn't run smoothly, it doesn't even close correctly and completely. Too bad I just bought a carabiner at the checkout at my local store!
