They are as good as Bearpaws. The inside of these boots is very soft. The sole is good, the daughter does not slip in it. My daughter is 4 years old and currently wears a size 9. I took her from storage, size 10 so she can wear socks with it. The boots I received were size 9 but packaged in size 10. My daughter loves them so much that I am keeping them and passing them on to my youngest daughter. My daughter fits a size 9 but she can't wear socks with it. They keep their feet warm without socks. I would suggest going up about 2 sizes to be able to wear socks. The boots are difficult to fit and are tight around her ankle, causing her leg to bend.
