I've been waiting for the price of a wireless thermometer to drop to a reasonable level. When I saw this listed on Revain I knew I had to give it a try. To say I'm amazed would be an understatement. The design, finish and packaging of this device is on par with many other premium products that I have purchased. The custom experience was perfect and even included an aha moment when I realized they had found a solution to the endless mess of kinked wires I was living with. Mind you I had knots when I only had 2 probes on my old radio module and they could get tangled. This one comes with SIX different sensors. Can you picture 6 different sized steaks on the grill and know when to separate them? I look forward to this day! As you can see from the photos below, I cooked a steak with it tonight. Just a steak but here's what I like. I could go anywhere with my phone and instantly see the temperature of a steak. I also noticed that the application on the phone detects when you lose connection to the base. If you do, an alarm will sound so you don't overcook when you're not connected. This gives you the opportunity to select the meat and then set the desired temperature for it. I like this as I usually get a 10-15 degree rise in temperature after taking a large steak off the heat. As you can see in the picture I set the alarm to 120 degrees and after a pause the steak was a perfect medium rare. I am very satisfied with this product. I look forward to summer when the grill is full and I know exactly where the temperature of everything is. The sensors are color coded. If I had one small thing, it would be a color code on the case so I can sync the app with what's showing on the color sensors. It's a small detail on my part, but attaching it would be safe.
