3 screw holes are unthreaded. far enough to crimp the cable. I had this problem with 50% of them. Poor production and nobody in Japan does quality control. This is by far the worst product I have ever purchased from Revain. Your tool to install them also has trouble opening and very awkward to turn.

Concealed installation requires a special socket wrench Muzata CT16. It prevents the rod from rotating when we tighten the cable. Note. For single post corner solutions, CB16 can only be used for actual timber post sizes over 4 inches.
