Instructions are one sheet of part/slot numbers only. I used the YouTube video mentioned in other reviews but only for the first minute or two until I got a feel for where and how the parts are going. Prior to final assembly, there were only a few parts that gave me trouble assembling. TIPS: - I used a fine felt tip pen to mark the numbers on each piece as directed in the "Instructions". This helped speed up the job as the numbered wedges and slots just matched. — A piece of fine-grain sandpaper helped smooth the torn edges. — I connected as many small parts as possible (porch, roof decor, railings) with wood glue. /Gorilla glue, then painted the sections, THEN finally assembled by gluing the small sections into larger ones, and then the whole thing - this saves you having to go deep into the house to paint areas you can't see properly/ reachable. It was a great result for my haunted house project. It lasted about 2 half a day or evening. But then I took it a step further and cut the tiles for my roof out of cardboard, which really took it to the next level.
