I bought this micro SD card as extra storage for my Kindle Fire 7. I inserted the micro SD card and turned on my Kindle. After a few seconds he informed me that the format of the card was not compatible with the Kindle and offered to format it for me. I pressed yes. The format took about 20 seconds and was successful. He then offered to transfer the data from the internal storage to the SD card, which I accepted. Everything worked great. The new storage is 116 GB from 128 GB. This is normal for an SD card for good technical reasons, which I won't go into here. (Check Google if you need more info.) I'm happy with this purchase!
