I LOVE this mattress topper! I've raved about it to many family members and friends! .That's why I came back here to update my review, only to find that I never reviewed it. 😳 "ORIGINAL" REVIEW 😉 (February 2016) I bought this saver after a few hours of research with the intention of protecting my first mattress purchase. I wanted something that was easy to clean, waterproof and didn't make a noise every time someone walked on it like the plastic protectors from my childhood. I also wanted something that would keep the bed bugs away. I live in the North West where bed bugs are not a problem. But I knew I couldn't see into the future and I had heard horror stories about them and figured why not add some extra protection to it. I also liked the fact that this company believes in their products so much that they stand by them. with 10 years guarantee! It wasn't a cheap buy when a young adult comes to the top, but I felt it was the best choice to justify my money. UPDATE (December 2020) Still loving this mattress topper! I've never been so grateful for such an expensive purchase. next to my dream dog, the endangered Welsh Springer Spaniel. This mattress topper has been through a lot! It has protected my bed from cat vomit, pet dander (rabbits, dogs, cats), water spills, unexpected "at this time of the month," someone getting sick from it, and more. It has been washed many times and is easy to put on. back on the bed. A few months ago I noticed that the protector was worn out almost in the middle of the bed. I also noticed a change in texture and tone as I ran my hand over it. a couple of hands, it was hard to tell. I believe it was more waterproof at that point. I contacted the company via email and they responded fairly quickly. They asked me to send a photo of the "damaged" place and my order number. I sent them a video of me running my hand over the terrain so you can hear the difference as the photo doesn't really show anything. They were completely satisfied with the video evidence and immediately sent me a new protector. Not only that, they have updated their product since my purchase and sent me the updated version 100% free! They even paid for shipping! BENEFITS • 100% waterproof • Easy enough to remove and wash • Washes great • Stretchy with plenty of room for a thick mattress topper • Very well made • Excellent customer service • Quiet (minimal noise. Not enough to bother me as I a light sleeper have a dog ear) • Soft material for waterproof CONS (actually it's not something I disagree with the company) • It holds a lot of water when washed (but damn it's waterproof protection, any of it would and SHOULD Didn't feel it should be rated less stars when asked for easy cleaning.) • Started to wear out after a few years (but company replaced it 100% FREE) • I found that the tread moved a bit (not that much) A big problem I just tuck my underwear elastic back under my bed when I change my sheets weekly. I add a thick mattress and a topper) Can I recommend it? YUP! And I keep doing that! Every time someone talks about their mattress or talks about how they bought a new mattress, I love this protection! Was it worth the price? Damn yes, every penny! Even after it started to wear out, I contacted the company and they sent me a new one for free. They even sent me an updated version!
