I bought these to use as slippers as I was looking for something that wouldn't get my feet too hot and would give my feet a little more support as I have some bursitis and high arch issues. The bumps are a bit unusual barefoot, but you get used to them quickly and it's actually quite comfortable. I usually wear shoes that are 10 1/2 wide or extra wide. For me, a size 12 fits these shoes the best so they don't sag and stay comfortable in the toe box.
