Plastic covers one end of the clasp, not the sharp end in the form of a stand. It concerns me. They are also tiny and seem fragile. I'm very skeptical. She is a high school student and is sensitive to metals. We hope that we can transform a stylish earring into a functional clip. She seems to like the Karen Scott brand. This brand is a special order in clip-on versions. I can return this. I need to check with her. She lives outside of town. Help!
