This is the third product I have bought to fill the need to rip tons of MP3 music files for mobile use. I've tried an SD card - NOT a branded card - {only effective, and a lot of music only has track information but it won't load}. I tried a microSD card - NOT a well known brand - this item was cheap and failed when the price was over a few thousand. Files are copied to it. I tried a stick from NO Name - very cheap, couldn't even handle 1/10th of my music collection and failed. GOOD NEWS: This product worked exactly as advertised. It was a true USB3 device that copied many files very quickly and accurately. I copied 5-10 thousand files at once and the drive just hummed. I wish it had an "activity" LED, but that's just my thought. I finished the long copy process as fast as the hard drive! Very impressive.
