I really needed a bag for work that can be carried on the shoulder but also as a backpack because I walk to work. This backpack is great, has a large opening so I can see and access my stuff easily. The zipper is good and so I'm not afraid to stuff it all the way. For example, today I had booties, a computer, a laptop, an adapter, a cereal box, a thin cotton sweater and a clutch purse in my pocket, and a water bottle in my side slit.
