I bought this set because my 2 year old suddenly decided he wanted to use my cutlery instead of his own plastic cutlery. I thought it would be nice to give him a set that looks more like our cutlery but is still small enough for him to handle. This brand was the closest I could find and is amazing but not practical at all. He was constantly grabbing for the smallest spot, which made maneuvering extremely difficult for him. My son has fairly good motor skills for his age, but he couldn't use them without difficulty and I decided not to insist until he figured it out. We had already fought enough to get him to eat, and I decided to send her back before it put him off any more. If I had to buy again, I would do without this set and only buy larger utensils from the age of 3 years.
