They are great for a variety of applications. My personal goal in purchasing this particular size is to increase the thickness of material that I can use on a 3018 cnc router as they are absolutely perfect for personal cnc modification, however I have a few complaints, my main complaint is the clips used to seal the packaging, they are sharp and poorly secured, i cut myself climbing into the box with other items. My other complaint is that there are no screws for the cushions, forcing the buyer to invest extra. One of the pads is missing most of the bearings, if I hadn't ordered two sets of spares I would have been very dissatisfied. However, they are of decent quality and perfect for endless small projects. You really won't find anything of this size with better quality and if you're adding an axle or modifying an existing axle this is definitely what you're looking for. I suggest buying two sets just to be on the safe side, especially if you are using them as a spindle as the vibration will eventually make them unstable like all bearings. Will buy it again if needed. Also, they arrived in about three days with standard shipping!
