I got the Back On Track sheet for my 15th birthday Borrowed age-old mare when I took her to the week-long national horse show. She has struggled with arthritis from time to time but after using this sheet for a week and seeing her reaction I bought her one. Now she wears it all night and I can tell that someone (but not me) forgot to put on pajamas because the next day she will be exercising very hard. It's noticeably more relaxed and healthier when I use it consistently. She's usually a size 78 or 80 for a full workout, and a size 81 is great. I started trying it on my other mare who is inexplicably grumpy and after just 2 days (2-4 hours every day) she definitely got less grumpy so I'll have to get her too. I also bought BOT shorts for my mum who has hip bursitis as well as 2 mini shorts which we use for a variety of things. They're warm and soothing without retaining heat, overheating, or causing sweating. My mom's older dog, who tore an anterior cruciate ligament and had surgery to repair it, loves lying on the mini litter. Horses wear sheets in hot and cold weather and do not sweat in them. I've never tried them under a sheet or duvet.
